Why use distillation?

Distillation is the single most effective method of water purification and can be used throughout the world on all types of incoming water. Unlike other treatment methods such as carbon filters and reverse osmosis, our systems are effective on virtually all contaminants and are not dependent on water pressure, water temperature, pH, or chlorine and can even be used on water containing bacteria and parasites and still produce safe, 99.9% pure water. 


Distillation & the hydrologic cycle 

Just as Mother Nature takes ocean water and converts it to pure rain water, a distiller duplicates the Hydrologic Cycle inside an appliance.

1. Regular tap water is plumbed directly into the boiling tank from your home or office water supply.
2. A heating element boils the contaminated feedwater and the steam rises.
3. The steam passes into the condensing coil, leaving the impurities behind.
4. A fan cools the steam and converts it to liquid - pure distilled water.
5. A stainless steel storage tank holds about five gallons of distilled drinking water and dispenses through the spigot.

(2)Steam distillation is able to kill the harmful bacteria and viruses, remove heavy metal contents, chlorine and chemical. When Alcohol is heated into steam, it is separated from the original Alcohol that has a lot of contaminants, then the pure steam is guided into the condenser, where it is liquidated.
