How to make sunflower oil ?

The pretreatment process 

 Raw material → cleaning screen → stone separator → sheller → flaker → cooker → pre-press → crude oil 

The press oil has good natural flavor and smell,and color with the high purity. People can eat directly.

The extraction process:

(Use organic solvent through soaking or spraying contact methods to extract oil from oilseeds.)

 raw embryos→Extractor→Wet meal→Evaporation→Cooling→Product meal packing

                   ↓

             Mixed oil→Filter→Negative pressure evaporation → Crude oil

                                                ↓

                                        Solvent recovery 

The crude oil refining process:

 Dephosphorization → dealkalizing → dewaxing → descoloring → deodorization → refined oil

Physical refining:

Physical refining is referring to remove the free fatty acid through the principle of water vapor fractionation. The features as follows:

1,high oil refining rate and good stability. 

2,Deodorization distillate is the good raw materials to extract natural VE and phytosterol,it greatly improves the utilization rate of resources.

3,large quantity by-product of fatty acid are recovered. 

4,no discharge of the soap foot and waste alkaline water,that reduce the pollution to the environment.

5,this method particularly suitable for refining high acid value,low colloid oil.

Chemical refining:

 Chemical refining is referring to remove the free fatty acid in the oil through acid and alkali neutralization. The features as follows: 

1,this method is practical, suitable for the widely range raw material.

2,soapstock produced in the alkali refining process has the great adsorption capacity,also has strong comprehensive function in the deacidification,degumming,decolorization and take off the solid impurity. 

3,Alkali refining process also can destroy the  toxic substances such as the pesticide residue and cotton phenol in the crude oil, this method is especially suitable for refining the cottonseed crude oil.  

4,the product quality is stable. 

5,reduce the clay adding quantity in the later craft process. 

Alkali refining and Deacidification:

1,The small amount of free fatty acids in the crude oil can result in oil physicochemical stability weaken ,must be made to remove. The deacidified Method has alkali refining, distillation, solvent extraction and esterification. One of the most widely used is  the alkali refining and distillation. Distillation deacidification also called physical refining. 

2,Alkaline deacidification is adding the alkali, acid, water and other substances to the oil, remove the certain amount of free fatty acid and gum heteroaryl in the crude oil. 

3,Alkali refining can be used before the mixed oil evaporation processing, can reduce the saponification of the neutral oil, reducing the oil content of the soapstock also to avoid the leaching plant evaporator fouling, and low energy consumption, refining less consumption, after the alkali,the refining oil has  good color, no waste water emissions and no pollution to the 

Deodorization:

Objectives of Deodorization:   Reduce the substances as follows: 

1,Odoriferous (smelly) materials:Aldehydes and Ketones,Free Fatty Acids (FFA) 

2,Unpleasant tasting materials:Oxidative materials,Peroxides. 

3,Color bodies (pigments):Carotene,Tocopherol (recover)
