Principle

For use of water, coconut shell activated carbon (in the iodine adsorption value of 1000 mg/g or more effective adsorption capacity effectively adsorbed organic matter in raw water, free residual chlorine, colloid, particles, microorganism, some metal ions and dechlorination, discharge residual chlorine content < 0.1 mg/L .

Activated carbon Filter principle

a.Activated carbon removal of impurity content in water, is based on the activity of activated carbon surface and unsaturated bonds.

Because OF the surface area of activated carbon is very big (500-1500 m2 g). Combined with the surface was covered with an average diameter of 2-3 nm  porous, so that activated carbon with high adsorption capacity.

b.At the same time, because of activated carbon on the surface of the carbon atoms are not equivalent in energy, these atoms containing unsaturated bond, so it is with foreign molecules or groups in the trend of chemical action, strong adsorption ability to deal with some organic compounds.

c.Studies have demonstrated that activated carbon adsorption of chloride, is not all its surface to physical adsorption of chloride, but because of the activated carbon surface played a catalytic role, prompted the hydrolysis of free chlorine, and generate new ecological accelerated the process of oxygen.
