1. Application of rod mill:

Rod mill is widely used in metal and nonmetal mine, glass and construction materials industries and water conservancy.It is mainly suitable for grinding of various ores and rocks and artificial sand-making.Rod mill has two types, dry and wet to choose. Our high-efficiency rod mill adopts rolling bearing support instead of sliding bearing support with bearing bush. Therefore, it has advantages of even discharging size and high capacity.The rod mill performs best when making products having a top size of 4 mesh to 16 mesh operating in open circuit, or as fine as 35 mesh operating in closed circuit with a screen or other sizing device.

2.  Rod mill structure :

Rod mill is composed of feeding parts,discharging part, turning part, transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, electric control),etc.Hollow axis adopts the cast steel,lining can be replaced,rotary rack wheel adopts casting gear for process,in the barrel beset with wear-resisting liner,it has good abrasion resistance.The machine runs smoothly,work reliably.

Note:Rod mill is used to grind cement raw materials,which is divided into dry method and wet method.

3.  Rod mill's working principle  :

The rod mill is horizontal cylindrical rotation device, driven by brim gearwheel. There are two chambers and grid. Material goes into the first chamber through the feeding inlet. Inside the first chamber, there are stage liners and ripple liners as well as steel balls. The shell rotates so as to generate electricity, and this force brings ball to a certain height and then balls drop down by gravity, the impact is the grinding force to the material. After the primary grinding, materials go into the second chamber through segregate screen. In the second chamber, there are flat liners and steel ball. After the secondary grinding, material is discharged from the discharging mouth. Then the whole grinding process is ended.

4.  Rod ball mill performance characteristics:
