The CF Roller was developed for customers needing a high degree of assurance of long cam follower life. It can be used to great advantage in conveyors, automotive transfer lines or process industries-food, beverage, plastics, glass and others. The RBC Roller is also attractive for defense and aircraft applications, where system reliability and maintainability are primary design goals. The internal design and construction differ from typical needle bearing, ball bearing, and tapered roller bearing cam followers. |
A cam follower, also known as a track follower,[1] is a specialized type of roller or needle bearing designed to follow cams. Cam followers come in a vast array of different configurations, however the most defining characteristic is how the cam follower mounts to its mating part; stud style cam followers use a stud while the yoke style has a hole through the middle

Cam followers (also known as track followers) are a specialised type of needle roller bearings designed to follow cams. Cam followers contain a solid pin (instead of an inner ring), that is threaded so the cam follower can be attached to machinery. Two types are avaliable:
- Single row cam followers
- Double row cam followers
Cam rollers (cam roller bearings) are based on deep groove ball bearings and feature a thick outer ring. Cam rollers are used in a wide variety of cam drives and conveyor systems. There are three main variations of internal constructions:
- Full compliment needle roller bearings
- Retainer type needle roller bearings
- Cyclindrical roller bearings
