Cement Grinding Plant/Cement Clinker Grinding Station /Cement Grinding Equipments
Cement in powder form can be changed from plasticity paste to hard stone-like body and can become a total cemented granular material through physical and chemical processes after being mixed with water. So cement is a good mineral binder. Cement can be not only hardened in the air, but also better hardened in the water in which it will maintain and develop strength. So cement is kind of cementitious material which will be of stronger hardness in water. Cement mill is used for cement grinding. Cement crusher is applied for cement crushing. In cement mining, you need to choose suitable Cement Clinker Mill and cement crusher.
Cement Grinding Plant
The cement making plant we use in this whole production line includes vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, impact crusher, cement ball mill, lifer, preheating system, cement rotary kiln and packing machine and so on. All the Cement equipment in this line can be provided by our factory.
1 Crushing and Pre-homogenization
Crushing : In the cement production, most of the raw materials need crushing, such as limestone, clay, iron ore, coal, etc. The limestone is of large particle sizes and high hardness after being mined. Therefore, the crushing of the limestone is the most essential part in cement plants.
Pre-homogenization :Pre-homogenization adopts the scientific method of material piling and fetching, making the raw material yard possessing the functions of storage and pre-homogenization.
2 Raw Materials Preparation
At least 3 tons of materials need grinding for producing 1 ton of silicate cement (including all kinds of raw materials, such as fuel, clinker, mixture and plaster). According to the statistics, the Dry Process Cement Production Line consumes more than 60% of the power of the whole plant, with raw material grinding taking up 30%, coal grinding about 3% , cement grinding about 40%. Therefore, the reasonable choice of grinding equipment and process flow, optimized process parameters, correct operation and the manufacturing control system are highly significant to ensure product quality and reduce the energy consumption.
3 Homogenization
In the new type Dry Process Cement Production, stabilizing the ingredients of the raw materials is the precondition of clinker calcining pyrology system. The homogenization system is a final check for the process.
4 Decomposition
The preheater can finish preheating and partial decomposition, replacing part of the functions of the Rotary Kiln and shortening its length and enabling the materials to sufficiently mix with the red-hot air. As a result, the contact area is increased, heat transfer rate quickened, the heat transfer efficiency strengthened, fulfilling the purpose of improving production efficiency and reducing heat consumption .
5 Calcination
The next procedure is clinker calcination. In the Rotary Kiln, the carbonate makes further quick decomposition and a series of solid-phase reactions. With the increase in the temperature, the minerals will become liquid and dissolved in the liquid phase reactions and then form a great amount of clinker. After being calcined, the temperature of the clinker will gradually become low. Finally, the hot clinker will be cooled by the Cooler to the appropriate temperature for conveying, storing and grinding. Meanwhile, the heat will be recycled, thus the heat efficiency improved and clinker quality enhanced.
6 Grinding
As the last process, it is also the most power-consuming process. Its main function exists in grinding cement clinker( also gelling agent, performance adjustment materials, etc.)to the proper sizes, forming a certain grain gradation, increasing hydration area and speeding up hydration rate, meeting the requirements of condensation and hardening of the cement slurry.
Cement Grinding Plant is used in cement raw materials crushing plant.
Limestone crushing: limestone is the main raw material for cement making, but since natural limestone is usually big, we use cement limestone crusher to crush them into small particles.
Bauxite crushing: bauxite is the additive. For making cement raw materials, bauxite is crushed by cement equipment into powder. Then bauxite particles and limestone particles together are ground into raw powder by raw mill.
Coal crushing: coal powder is used to be processed into cement clinker. Raw coal is crushed by cement plant then ground by cement coal mill.
Gypsum crushing: gypsum powder made by gypsum crusher and gypsum mill is put into cement clinker together with coal powder, and then the cement raw material enters into the cement mill for fine grinding.
Cement making machine
In the cement manufacturing plant, not only the crushing machinery, but also the grinding machine is used as cement machinery.
Limestone crusher: limestone is the main raw material for making cement, so we need the limestone crusher to crush limestone to small particle sizes to make cement.
Raw mill: it is used to crush limestone particles and additive materials.
Coal crusher and coal mill: They are used for crushing and grinding coal into powder in cement plant.
Gypsum crusher and mill: In cement plant, they are used for crushing and grinding gypsum into powder.
Cement mill: They are used to grind cement clinker into powder to make cement.
Cement mill, also called Cement ball mill plant, is used for grinding raw materials of cement in the cement grinding process. Cement mill is not only suitable for over-flow grinding, but applicable for cyclic closed-flow grinding together with powder collector.
