Ceramic sand also named fracturing proppant, it’s a kind of ceramic particles product which is widely used as underground propping for oil field and gas filed. The proppant can increase the production of oil, natural gas, coal-bed methane and shale gas. It’s a kind of environment -friendly product. This proppant is made by high quality bauxite which can take place of low strength propping products like natural quartz sand, glass grain, metal grain & etc.

Ceramsite proppant is necessary used for oil (gas) field which mining with hydraulic fracturing process. In the oil (gas) field plays a great role to increase production.

When mining, high closure pressure and low permeability ore deposit will cracking after fracturing treatment, then oil andgas will pouring out from the crack formation. Injecting ceramsite proppant with high pressure solution into the cracks of rock formation will propping the cracks not closed by stress release, so as to maintain a high diversion ability, keeping the oil and gas flowing, increase production.

Ceramsite proppant is widely used in the extraction of oil, gas, coal-bed methane, shale gas to increase the production and avoid ground subsidence. Fracturing technology is an important method to transform oil and gas field, the injecting fluid flow into rock base, the formation of fracture pressure will make the wellbore rock cracking to forming a channel with high flow ability. To maintain the formation of crack opening and fracturing, injecting grain proppant is necessary.

Oil fracturing proppant is a kind of round and smooth pellet. When extracting oil, injecting the proppant into cracks with fracturing fluid can improve the oil conductivity and increasing oil production.

1, High compressive strength and wear resistance ability, can withstand the strong pressure of injection and friction, and will propping the cracks effectively.
2, Pumping into underground easily because of the low relative density.
3, Particle size in accordance with the design requirement of different oil wells, generally it is 0.4-0.8mm. The roundness and sphericity is more than 0.9. The uniform particle size, smooth surface and low turbidity value (<100 degree) make it has high flow conductivity.
4, No chemical action will occur with fracturing fluid and reservoir fluid when temperature around 200 degree, acid solubility max allowable value should be less than 7%. 
Beside above advantage, the low cost of ceramsite proppant make it more and more widely used by oil and gas fields.

Drying the bauxite after crushing from 300-500mm, then mixing with manganese powder & additive, after that grinding the mixture by grinding system with high efficiency separator, The qualified material which fineness below 500mesh will feed to granulator. The granulator will calcined by rotary kiln after screening. The calcined proppant will be screening after cooling. The qualified proppant will be packing, unqualified pellet will be transfer back to grinding system.
