a) Make sand mould: Fill full sands into top pattern and bottom pattern. The sand must be thin for good surface.
b) Set gating system: The step is very important in all process; different part is different gating system. So the workers must have much experience
c) Remove the patterns and fix them tightly
d) Fill the sand mould with melt aluminum alloy. The workers must control and test the temperature before pouring.
e) Allow the hot aluminum to cool. Don’t remove the sand earlier, or the shape of casting will be changed because of cooling shrinkage.
f) Break the sand mold and remove the castings
