Introduction of Jig Separator

Our tungten ore concentration jig separator is a new type of energy saving and high efficient gravity separation equipment and

developed based on the traditional Sine Wave Jig. The difference between Saw-tooth Wave Ladder Jig and Sine Wave Jig is that the pulsation curve for jigging is saw-tooth wave shape, with speedy upward flow and slow downward flow. Bed layer is elevated integrally and slowly dropped with a long effective loose time, allowing significant increase of handling capacity for unit screen surface, decrease of lower limit of grain size recovery and large save of make-up water for undersize fraction.
Industrial tests carried our of Saw-tooth Wave Ladder Jig and Sine Wave Jig for comparison showed that the recovery rate for

operation of Saw-tooth Wave Ladder Jig is raised by Sn:3.01%, W:5.5%, Pb:1.63%, Zn:2.04%; The water consumption reduces 30%-40% with water consumption being decreased by 30-40%. The area reduces 1/3 and the stroke may adjust also.

antimony, lead, tantalum, niobium and other minerals.

Working Principle of Jig Separator

The pulsing curve of the traditional jig is sinusoidal waveform, the up and down speed of water flow and acting time produced by the movement of membrane are almost same, so it is unfavorable to loose of jig bed and layering of minerals based on special gravity, and thus affect separation ability and recovery rate. Saw-tooth wave is an energy economy gravity equipment that is developed and improved from traditional jig on the basis theory of jig bed layering.
Its jigging pulsating curve is similar to saw-tooth wave, which makes the up speed of water flow quicker than down speed of water flow, so it can improve looseness of jig bed and reduce suction action, which can lead to fully settlement of heavy particles in slurry, it highly improves separation ability and recovery rate. Stroke and frequency of stroke are adjustable.
