 surface is coated with natural granules.Galvalume steel consists of Aluminum (55%), Zinc (43.4%), and Silicone (1.6% ), so it has both Aluminum-unique 

corrosion-resistance and heat resistance and Zinc-unique "Galvanic Behavior".
