Slag Casting Machine  

1.Equipment description

Slag casting machine is used for lead oxide slag ingoting.The slag ingots are taken off from slag casting mold, then stockpiled or taken away.

Several casting mold are fixed on the chain, and supported on the rail through the roller, with the movement of the chain, the slag casting mold moved at the same time. Liquid heat slag flows into the chute whose angle is adjustable from smelting furnace, and pour into casting mold. The ingots are taken off from the slag casting mold in the head wheel.

Slag casting machine and the ground form an angle of 40 degrees. In order to prevent possible reversal, the backstop is installed on the other end of the output shaft of the small reducer which used as the head wheel transmission device.

The slag casting machine is provided with a cooling water spray device. When necessary, rapping can be used to accelerate the slag ingot removed from the slag casting machine. Rapping is applied pneumatic mechanism whose pneumatic element is controlled by two position three way control valve. The pulse signal of controlling this valve is gained from the proximity switch of head wheel shaft end and the time last a second and adjustable, and then enter into the next circulation.

Through frequency control of the slag casting machine drive motor, it can adjust the chain running speed, thereby adjusting the time of cooling slag ingot.

Through over-current protection and torque limiting couplings of the slag casting machine drive motor, it can ensure the equipment safety.

 The slag casting machine operation shall realize interlock with the rotate of rotating frame on tilting device.
