Brief description of bio-diesel production process 

 If waste oil contains moisture, it will affect esterification(interesterification)by different degrees, such as reaction speed, conversion rate, product quality and operation cost of bio-diesel production, etc. Therefore, we first proceed pretreatment and dehydration of raw materials, removing moisture from the raw material to ensure the technical effect of esterification (interesterification).

Esterification (interesterification) is an important process of “Technology of bio-diesel production from vegetable oil processing leftovers and swill oil”. Its technology methods, process equipments, merits and defects of process conditions has direct impact on reaction speed, conversion rate, product quality and operation cost of bio-diesel production, etc. of esterification (interesterification). For this, we adopt catalyze esterification (interesterification) process in supersaturated methanol conditions .The sedimentary mixed liquor in the tank bottom contains  large amount of concentrated sulfuric acid, could be pumped into other esterification cans for recycling. After a certain period of time, discharged into waste liquid neutralizing processing tank, adding lime cream for neutralizing, cooking and recovering residual methanol to reach safe emissions.

The mixture of vapor and gas produced in esterification (transesterification) process, gas phase directly goes into the  methanol rectifying tower for continuous distillation and refining, refined methanol will be recycled. After esterification (transesterification) completed, evaporation and desolventizing shall be processed under certain temperature and time, using the same method of producing mixed vapor for continuous distillation and refining.

             Because the esterification (interesterification) reaction is a balance reaction, the acid value is often high after the reaction completion, for this reason, we set washing and tempering, its purpose is to neutralize free fatty acids, reduce acid value, and remove water-soluble impurities, so as to ensure the operation of the subsequent working procedure and final product quality. Washing material liquid is sent for gassing and dehydration after filtering.

The purpose of gassing and dehydration is to remove air, residual moisture and small amount components of low boiling point that dissolved in the material, reduce the oxidation polymerization loss in high temperature, and ensure the smooth progress of distillation operation.

Distillation is devided into two sections, all adopting high negative pressure inhibiting and oxygen resistance distillation, ensure continuous distillation operation and reduce energy consumption.

After distillation, methyl ester vapor is respectively collected through condensation and cooling , and becoming finished product through fine filtering, distillation residues are namely vegetable pitch.
