Performance Characteristics

The appearance of Sodium polyacrylate is white powder, odorless and tasteless. Sodium polyacrylate has strong absorption of wet. Sodium polyacrylate is a polymer having both hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups. Sodium polyacrylate can be slowly dissolved in water to form a very viscous transparent liquid. Heat treatment, neutral salts, organic acids have little effect on its viscosity, but in alkaline conditions, the viscosity increases. Sodium polyacrylate is insoluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents. With Strong heat to 300 ℃ Sodium polyacrylate does not decompose. Jiucun viscosity change is minimal, not easy to corruption. When the pH is 4 or less, the polyacrylic acid precipitates.

Application

Sodium Polyacrylate (PAAS) can be used as flocculant, scale inhibitor and dispersant in circulating cool water systems in power plants, iron & steel factories, chemical fertilizer plants, powdered laundry detergents, refineries and air conditioning systems.
