Technical and Speciallized Production Line for Gypsum Board and Gypsum Block

Gypsum board,with two sides of paper, is mixed with appropriate Additive and Enhanced Fiber. The gypsum board is first invented in 1890 in America, then came into Europe in 1917. The gypsum board spread quickly, since it is light, warm, insulated, fire-resistant, green and easy to operate. It is

estimated that the gypsum board annual output reached 1,9billion square meter in 1997. 80% of walling materials uses gypsum board. Almost all the residential construction in America uses the gypsum board as the Internal Wall Material. As for the per capital consumption, it is 13.2 square meter per year in Canada, 8.1 square meters in America, 4.4 square meters in Japan and French, 2.6 square meters in United Kingdom. But in China, the per capita consumption is no more than 0.3 square meters per year; it is far lower than the consumption level in other countries. The gypsum board is popular in the past 100 years because of its high performance. It is as following:

1. low energy consumption, High Productivity:Compared with cement production, gypsum board production can save 78% of the energy source. Less investment and mass production, the capacity can be 40 million square meters. 

2. Lightness:use the gypsum board as interior wall, the weight is 1/15 of the same thickness of brick wall,1/10 of the gypsum block wall. It is seismic structure and save cost.

3. Thermal Insulation:because of the porous structure, gypsum board’s thermal conductivity is 0.16W/(M.K), compared with sand-lime brick(1.1W/(M.K)), it has an obvious advantage.

4. Fire performance:the gypsum is uninflammable and will absorb heat when meeting fire. It delays the rise of surrounding temperature, so it is fire-resistant. The maximum fire resistance can be 4 hours.

5.Sound insulation performance:The unique hollow space can improve the insulation performance.

6.Decoration performance:The surface is smooth and can be directly decorated.

7. Construction Performance:The scissor is enough to cut the gypsum board. It is easy to operate and improve the production efficiency.

8. Comfortable Resident Function:the gypsum board can regulate Indoor Humidity thus it makes resident comfortable.

9. Green:gypsum board adopts the natural gypsum and paper as its raw material. It does not contain harmful asbestos(most Calcium Silicate Board and fiber cement board contain asbestos).

In the domestic market, the gypsum board is often used in the Ceiling decoration. It is also a very good light walling material. In foreign countries, it is often used as walling material more than ceiling.

Gypsum board type

(1) Ordinary gypsum board: It is grey paper-surface, common and economic building materials. It is suitable for the common place and the relative humidity is lower than 65%. Many people will choose the 9.5 mm thickness gypsum board for its low price as the ceilings and partition. But we recommend that you use 12mm more to avoid the distortion and cracking.

(2)Water resistant gypsum board: Both the gypsum powder and paper are added some waterproofing agent and meet the national standard. The water resistant gypsum board is suitable for the place where the relative humidity is not higher than 95%, such as washing room, bath room and so on.

(3)Fire resistant gypsum board: Refractories and lots of fiberglass are added in the gypsum board. High quality of fire resistant gypsum board will use alkali-free glass fiber,common quality plasterboard will use the middle alkali glass fiber or high-alkali glass fiber.
