What is zeolite?

Clinoptilolite (from the Heulandite group) is the most common and suitable natural zeolite type for commercial and industrial applications.

Clinoptilolite Zeolite is a natural volcanic mineral, a micro porous inorganic mineral with an open, stable, three dimensional honeycomb structure negatively charged.

The structure loosely holds cations (negatively charged ions) which are available for exchange. The ability to exchange one cation for another is called "cation exchange capacity";
