Hydrated magnesia is a type of new developed filled flame retardants in recent years, whose basis is Mg(OH)2.
It is widely used in rubber, chemical industry, building materials,plastics(2,polytene, PVC, PET rubber,etc.) and some macromolecular materials, like electron, paint, unsaturated polyester. Especially for the flame retardance, smoke suppression and antistatic behavior, including coating cloth of mining air duct, conveyor belts of PVC, flame retarding rubber sheet, wires and cable of PVC, mining cable sheath,cable annexes, and so on, it also can replaces aluminium hydroxide because of its excellent flame retardant performance.
