WHAT IS ACRYLIC ?

Acrylic is the clearest of plastics. Acrylic is hard to break and it won't shatter like glass. Acrylic can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth or just a dab of mild dishwashing liquid.

ACRYLIC CARE

CLEANING ACRYLIC:

Wash acrylic with a mild soap or detergent and lukewarm water solution. Use a clean soft cloth or sponge and as much solution as possible. Rinse well. Dry by blotting with a damp cloth or chamois.

NO NOT USE:

Window cleaning fluids, scouring compounds, disinfectants, gritty cloths, leaded or ethyl gasoline or strong solvents such as alcohol, acetone, carbon tetra chloride etc. To remove tar, grease, paint etc., use a good grade of naphtha or kerosene. Be sure to wash off residue with soap and water as above.

POLISHING ACRYLIC:

Apply a thin even coat of a good grade of automobile wax (not a cleaner-wax combination) with a soft clean cloth. Buff lightly with a clean cotton flannel cloth. After polishing, wipe with a clean damp cloth to ground any electrostatic charges which may attract dust particles.
