*Safflower Yellow is a natural food pigment extracted from the petal of Carthamus Tinctoria L. 

by the process of extracting, filtrating, purifying, concentrating, sterilizing, spraying & drying. The main coloring ingredient is carthamine.

Indigenously, use of safflower oil as cooking medium is on increase due to low saturated fats. its flowers are known to be used for industrial and medicinal purposes . undecorticated safflower seed extraction with 20%crude protein rich in methionine is useful as an ingredient in formulated poultry feed .it is also used in cattle feed along with other meals such as cotton seed meal . Safflower meal is obtained by crushing its seeds for oil and further extracted and meal is formed as its by-product .

Usage:
