2. Functions Description

A. Radiofrequency

Radiofrequency consists of the emission of electromagnetic waves. In beauty care these waves are applied to the body in order to carry energy and heat deep into the skin without altering the epidermis in any way. Applying radiofrequency produces a number of beneficial biological effects on the treated tissue and stimulates physiological processes that have slowed down to return to normal functioning.

More specifically, releasing a carefully monitored quantity of energy on the skin creates an endothermic effect that has a very positive effect on the lymph and vascular systems and on the adipose-connective structures.

On the body it has positive effects tied to the:

- reducing veno-lymph stasis phenomena

- improving drainage

- accelerating fat metabolism

B. Vacuum Connective Tissue Massage

Connective tissue massage increases oxygenated blood flow and nutrition, as well as encouraging the removal of liquids carrying waste and stimulating the metabolic activity of cellular elements.

C. Low Level Laser

The low level laser shoots low-levels laser energy into the cell membranes of the fat cells which are disrupted and then release intra-cellular fat. The cell then loses its round shape as pores are created in the cell’s membrane. No other cell structures are affected (skin, veins, or nerves). Triglycerides (fatty acids & glyecerol) spill from the membranal pores and are released into the interstitial space, where they are transported by your body’s natural metabolic processes and used by your body as energy. Note: This action is not “fat liquification” but is the instantaneous breakdown of the fat cells (also referred to as lypolysis).
