Working Principle
Aimike inverter generally consists of rectifier, filter, inverter driving circuit, protection circuit and a controller (MCU/DSP) and other parts. Firstly, when the current of single-phase or three-phase AC power through a rectifier and capacitor filter, it will form fixed amplitude DC voltage and put on the inverter, the output terminal of the inverter will obtain a pulse wave with certain shape, after uses the on-off control of inverter power element. By changing the width of rectangular pulse and inverter’s output frequency to control the amplitude of voltage and output frequency respectively so the the inverter can control output voltage and frequency at the same time that to meet the requirements of U/f Coordinated control. The advantage of PWM is to eliminate or suppress low order harmonic wave, and make the motor run at the voltage with approximate sine wave.

What is a VFD?
A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is a type of motor controller that drives an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the electric motor. Other names for a VFD are variable speed drive, adjustable speed drive, adjustable frequency drive, AC drive, microdrive, and inverter.
Frequency (or hertz) is directly related to the motor’s speed (RPMs). In other words, the faster the frequency, the faster the RPMs go. If an application does not require an electric motor to run at full speed, the VFD can be used to ramp down the frequency and voltage to meet the requirements of the electric motor’s load. As the application’s motor speed requirements change, the VFD can simply turn up or down the motor speed to meet the speed requirement.
What's a VFD consist of?
Generally, variable frequency drive contains two components: rectifier and inverter. The rectifier converts incoming AC power to DC power, then the inverter converts DC power to the desired frequency AC power. In addition to these two parts, variable frequency drive may also contain transformer and battery. Wherein the transformer changes the voltage and isolates input/output circuit, the battery compensates energy loss inside the VFD drive circuit.
How does a VFD work?
A VFD receives the AC power supply from the AC mains source and outputs a modulated power signal to the NovaTorque motor in a wave pattern known as Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). This power signal provides both speed control and electronic commutation.
Why should I use a VFD?

If you have an application that does not need to be run at full speed, then you can cut down energy costs by controlling the motor with a variable frequency drive, which is one of the benefits of Variable Frequency Drives. VFDs allow you to match the speed of the motor-driven equipment to the load requirement. There is no other method of AC electric motor control that allows you to accomplish this.
Electric motor systems are responsible for more than 65% of the power consumption in industry today. Optimizing motor control systems by installing or upgrading to VFDs can reduce energy consumption in your facility by as much as 70%. Additionally, the utilization of VFDs improves product quality, and reduces production costs. Combining energy efficiency tax incentives, and utility rebates, returns on investment for VFD installations can be as little as 6 months.

Extend Equipment Life and Reduce Maintenance
Your equipment will last longer and will have less downtime due to maintenance when it’s controlled by VFDs ensuring optimal motor application speed. Because of the VFDs optimal control of the motor’s frequency and voltage, the VFD will offer better protection for your motor from issues such as electro thermal overloads, phase protection, under voltage, overvoltage, etc.. When you start a load with a VFD you will not subject the motor or driven load to the “instant shock” of across the line starting, but can start smoothly, thereby eliminating belt, gear and bearing wear. It also is an excellent way to reduce and/or eliminate water hammer since we can have smooth acceleration and deceleration cycles.

The input voltage is 220V+/-20% or 380V+/-20%,and the output voltage is 0-220V or 0-380V.If you want setp up or step down the voltage,you can buy a voltage transformer and matched with our products to change this voltage.

Maintenance
Daily Caring and Maintenance
The changes of inverter using environment, such as the influences of temperature, humidity and smog, and aging and other factors of inverter internal component may lead to various faults of inverter. Therefore, in storage and using process, it must take daily inspection and regular maintenance for the inverter.
Daily Maintenance
When the inverter is started normally, please confirm the following items:
(1) Whether the motor has abnormal noise and vibration
(2) Whether the inverter and motor has abnormal heat radiation
(3)Whether the environment temperature is too high
(4)Whether the load current value is the same with past values
(5)Whether the cooling fan of inverter is in normal operation
Regular Caring and Maintenance
1 Regular Maintenance
When the inverter is taken regular maintenance and inspection, it must cut off the power. After the monitor has no display and the indicators of main circuit power are off, it can take inspection. The inspection contents are as in Table 1.

Regular Caring
To make the inverter operate normally for a long period, it must take caring and maintenance for the service life of internal electronic components of inverter. The service life of internal electronic components of inverter is varied due to different using environment and using conditions, as in Table 8-2. Caring period of inverter is provided only for reference.

Inverter Guarantee

(2) Under normal using condition, our company is responsible for the guarantee when the inverter appears fault or damages within 12months. Our company be collect reasonable maintenance fee if it is more than 12 months.
(3) It shall also collect certain maintenance fees within 12 months for the following conditions:
•Operate the machine no in accordance with the operation manual, which leads to damage of inverter
•Inverter damages are caused by water, fire and abnormal voltage etc.
•Inverter damages are caused by wrong wiring and so on.
•Damage is caused by using inverter in abnormal function.
(4)Related service charges will be calculated according actual cost. If there is contract, it is processed according to the principle of contract with priority.
