Cotton Stalk Screw Briquetting Machine make the biomass material into briquettes. After the well preparement of raw metarial, briquetting is easy at right operation of biomass briquette press. When machine rise to over 300 centigrade, the material can be feeding continuously into briquetting press. First, the color of briquettes may be a little dark even black, but after a while, the color will be light to normal level coming out of biomass briquette machine.   

Appropriate Biomass Residues for Briquetting:

Any type of Agro-Forestry waste can be used. But the Moisture Content Should be about 8-12%, grain size is below 5*5mm.

The process for producing charcoal briquette as follow:

 
1. Crush the raw material into small pieces (diameter is about 3-5mm)
2. Dry the material by machine or dried it in the sun , till the moisture is less than 12%
3. Put the material into feed let of briquette machine
4. Produce the briquette stick from biomass material without any additive
4. Carbonized the briquette stick
 

Characteristic of Biomass Briquette Machine:

Briquetting is a process that biomass is compressed under high pressure and high temperature. The machine uses a large screw to grind, compress and extrude the biomass into briquettes. The self bonding of biomass to form a briquette involves the thermo-plastic flow of the biomass. The natural lignin content in biomass is liberated under high pressure and temperature. Lignin serves as the glue in the briquetting process, binds the particles of wood together, thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into high density briquettes. During this process, no binder needs to be used. So the output briquette is a type of clean and green fuel that is ideal for use in furnaces, boilers and open fires.
