Spring center specs

Centralizing(Centripetal-type)
This is a standard grip shape, with the grip portion at the center and the stopper faces along the outermost face. This chuck’s sure grip, even on unfinished metal surfaces of cast/forged materials with draft angles of up to 20°, and stability during heavy cutting, ensure the finished shaft measure is always uniform. We offer both 2- and 3-jaw types; the chuck can easily be switched between OD (outer diameter) and ID (inner diameter) chucking.

Compensating

The compensating type chuck is designed to allow the claws to grip a work piece with equal force all along its perimeter with respect to both center/boss holes. We have both 2- and 3-jaw types; other than the actuator, the functional parts are consistent with the centralizing-type chuck. Our company has developed a variety of chucking types based on the center/boss holes, but this ball lok chuck (compensating type) in particular offers efficiency, adaptability to complex shapes, high-load machining, precision, and maintainability.
