• What is laser marking?

"Laser marking" stands for marking or labeling of workpieces and materials with a laser beam. In this regard, different processes are distinguished, such as engraving, removing, staining, annealing and foaming. Depending on the material and the quality requirement, each of these procedures has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Capabilities:

With an unlimited font selection, Laser Light has capabilities of marking alphanumeric characters as small as 20-microns in height with our smallest stroke width being 6 microns at an engraved depth of 0.1″ or deeper.  Our typical working area is up to 18”X24″, which can be extended to fit your needs. We employ X/Y/Z micropositioning stages and rotary indexers integrated to hold positional tolerances of greater than +/- .001″.  Logos and text can be machined on flat, cylindrical, and/or curved surfaces.
