          WHAT IS THE CAM SWITCH 

            Cam switch is manual operated switch .contacor and relay are used in controlling medium and high powered motors.but controlling low power motors is made by cam switches as they are simple and economic .

           The cam switch can connect and break contacts.has rotary movement and multiple position ,allowing multiple circuit functions controlled through a single operation ,The number of positions and the switching angles of cam are flexible to offer wide selection of ''perational sequence '' based on the requirement .cam switch nake and break the connected outputs in required sequence by either opening or closing circuits with a set of contacts operated by a rotary cam .
