Product Introduction

Ginger has been used throughout history as an aid for many gastrointestinal disturbances as well as to relieve inflamed joints. In addition to its other uses, the Chinese still use ginger as a tasty marinade to detoxify meats. The most active chemical compounds in ginger are known as the gingerols, which are also the most aromatic compounds in this root. Ginger also contains shogaols, which are formed during the drying process.

Physiological Functions

1) Gingeriols are thought to detoxify gastric substances that could lead to nausea. 2) Ginger is also thought to increase the tone and movement of the intestines, and to promote heart health. Furthermore, ginger may inhibit substances that could cause the pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis
