Cone Crusher Usage and Application 

Cone Crusher is widely used for secondary and fine crushing in the fields of mining, building materials, metallurgy and so on. Cone crusher can crush materials with middle and high hardness, such as ironstone, copperore, quartz, metal ore, basalt, granite, limestone, cobblestone, sandstone and so on.

Cone Crusher Working Principle 

The cone crusher is mainly composed of frame, fixed cone assembly, movable cone assembly, spring mechanism, bowl pedestal part, transmission device and so on, and the auxiliary device includes electrical system, diluted oil lubrication station and hydraulic cleaning chamber system. When Cone crusher works, the motor drives the drive shaft through the pulley and V-belt .The drive shaft and a pair of bevel gear make the eccentric sleeve rotating and this makes the cone axis swing, so sometimes the crushing wall is near the rolling mortar wall, but sometimes they are far away from each other. Stones in the crushing cavity are extruded, impacted, and boned continuously, finally they are crushed.

The following picture show a customer's stone product line. The whole product line includes vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, cone  crusher, vibrating screen and belt conveyors. The raw material is fed into jaw crusher through vibratong feeder for primary crusher, then is transported to cone crusher for fine crushing, then the material is transported fo vibrating screen to be separated into different sizes. The plate is the major wear part. For limestone it can serve 2 years while for cobblestone it need to be replaced in 1 year.
