Products description 

Glass rotor flow meter is widely used in chemical industry, oil, light industry, medicine, chemical fertilizer, chemical fiber, food, dyeing, paper making, environment protection and scientific research department to measure flow of non-pulse one-direction gas or liquid. 

Principle and structure 

The main measuring element of glass rotor flow meter is a glass tube with small end down, big end up and a floater which move down in it. When the fluid flows through the cone glass from bottom to top, a differential pressure generated between upper and lower of the floater, and the floater will be rising under the differential pressure. When the resultant force of float upward force, gravity and buoyancy of floater and viscous force is equal, the floater in a state of balance. Therefore, the fluid flow of the meter and the height of rising fluid have certain relation with the  meter’s flow area, and the height of floater can be as flow rate.

Install and application 

1. When open the box, you should check carefully to confirm that is there any  damage of instrument during the transit. LZB15-40 meter’s floater and meter are packed separately.(Floater,Specification,Packing list and so on inside  plastic pags) Used by the user during the installation, first of all, please twisted a cock down inside the bushing which at the top of meter(The thick place of a glass tube) , put floater in the glass tube, (floater’s big head up ),and then, twist the cock on tightly. For LZB series flow meter with guide bar, you should take fillers out, it was used to prevent floater bouncing, and check if the floater can be sliding up and down freely.

2.Flow meter must be installed at vertical position(The angle between the center line of the flow meter and the lead vertical less than 5℃ )and has a correct supporting in order to prevent entering into any stress. For the new installed pipe, before installing the meter, the pipe should be swashed cleanly. When you install the meter, the smallest cone end of import taper pipe, namely  minimum numerical scale, and located in the lower part.

3.In order to replace parts conveniently during using, flow meter installed, should leave enough space around it.
