     Ester-hardened alkaline phenolic resin sand self-hardening sand compare with the other resin hardening sand, this self-hardening sand doesn’t include N, S, P and so on. So it eliminates the harmful effects that these elements caused for the surface quality of the casting and environmental pollution. In addition, when this self-hardening sand is used for the higher acid consumption sand, it will have better hardening property. Therefore, it can be used the binder for alkaline special sand (such as forsterite sand, chromite and so on) producing high manganese steel casting.

     The scope of application alkaline phenolic resin sand isn’t only suitable for common gray iron castings, ductile iron castings, nonferrous alloy castings, but also suitable for ordinary carbon steel castings and alloy steel castings.
