Application and Features:

Bimetal thermometer made by Leading Machinery is an industrial instrument which is widely apply in measuring low and medium temperature. It can be used for present temperature of gas, liquid and steam directly.

Bimetal thermometer provides many advantages including mercury free, easy reading, waterproof, anti-corrosion and vibration, etc. It is widely used in power plant, machinery, chemical, textile, petroleum, food and other industries as well as some institution for research.

The bimetal thermometer produced by Leading Machinery adopt stainless steel 1Cr18NiTi probe and protection tube, connector, and screws. Housing was made by shaping and cutting aluminum plate, and all surface was black coated by electrophoresis. Lid and housing of the product is with double layer rubber rings structure for sealing, hence the total water and corrosion proof performance of the product is excellent.

Operating principle

GWSS series electric contact bimetal thermometers are with mechanical electric contacts. While temperature of medium for measurement changes, the thin shaft on free end and transmission device will turn the indicator and contact, thus the temperature change will be shown on dial panel. At the moment the fixed contactor was contact or break, the replay in system will correspondent, then auto control or alarm could be realized. The whole structure are comply with standard JB/T8803 1998 of China.

Type and Parameters:

1. Bimetal thermometer are divided into axial type (straight type), radial type l (angle type), universal type (angle adjustable type) according to different connection angle between case and tube.

2. Precision degree of bimetal thermometer is 1.5 degree or 1.0 degree, Angle adjustment accuracy of universal type thermometer should be not exceed 1.0%.

3. The nominal diameter, testing scope, division value, protection tube diameter, insertion length, mounting thread is as below chart

4. Time constant of Bimetal thermometer: for Φ6 less than 30 second, Φ8 and Φ10 less than 60 second, Φ12 less than 80 second.

5. Universal angle thermometer can be adjustable within 0-90 º, it is suitable for different perspective demand.

6. The material of thermometer protection tube is stainless steel(1Cr18Ni9Ti), nominal pressure is 6.4Mpa

7. Corrosion resistance thermometer is coated the protection tube with PTFE, widely used for temperature testing in corrosive medium.
