Its opening hour after application is affected by the indoor temperature and humidity. Generally the workshop temperature should be kept constant at between 15~26 °C. The best humidity should be maintained at about 50%. Therefore, when the hot melt adhesive is applied in many regions, there have been many plastic bubbles in summer and not easy to cure. While in winter, the time for curing and hardening become shorter and it is difficult to cure. In the other areas because of high humidity, the package surface is not fixed. These phenomena are directly related to workshop temperature and humidity. So it is required that: the constant temperature equipment and humidity measuring instrument shall be installed to ensure the proper temperature and humidity. Under high temperature in summer, the temperature for hot melt shall drop about 10°C in order to let the opening and cure time of the adhesive reach reasonable demands. The quantity of the preheated adhesive in the pot shall be proper. When there is too much, the adhesive is over melting, which will make it go bad and ageing, and result in lower viscosity.
