Brief Introduction
The marine separator is mainly used for cleaning up the moisture and mechanical impurity in the fuel (light diesel oil, heavy diesel oil, fuel oil) and lubricating oil of ships and diesel engine, which is good to reduce the abrasion and prolong its sevice-life. The heavy diesel oil is separated by separator can replace the light diesel oil for using so thatreducethecost ofproduction greatly.

Special function of disc separator
4.1 The motor drives gear unit by friction clutch, then the vertical shaft to drive the drum. The friction clutch can guarantee steady starting of the separator, the acceleration is even, and can avoid overload in motor and gear. In order to minimize wear and influence of drum vibration on the whole machine, the vertical shaft will use anelastic bearing structure.

4.2In order to check whether the separator is run normally, tachometer is arranged, the counter displays the separator speed in rpm. At normal operation, the counter rpm shall meet thevalues in thetechnicalspecifications.
4.3The drum is of high speed and moment of inertia. After turning off the separator, it will take a long time to stop rotation by itself, that’s why brake is furnished to reduce the stopping time, meanwhile it can pass the critical speed of the vertical shaftrapidly.
