1. Intuitive user interface
The compact Magicard Rio Pro Single-sided card printer features a clear 4-line display that provides easy-to-understand instructions and status messages. Its printer driver supports Microsoft Windows, making it easy to install and use.

2. Batch or single-feed printing
The Rio Pro Single-sided printer's 100-card capacity input hopper and 70-card stacker provide worry-free, continuous batch card printing. You also have the flexibility to produce cards on-the-fly with the hand-feed slot.

3. Card security made easy and inexpensive 

Magicard's exclusive HoloKote feature allows you to print a watermark with the Magicard Rio Pro without any added costs. The watermark is printed during the card printing cycle using the O panel of a standard color ribbon - there is no need to purchase expensive holographic lamination. The HoloKote watermark becomes visible when the card is viewed at an angle and can be easily enables or disables in your printer driver.

HoloKote for the Magicard Rio Pro single sided is available in four patterns: globes, keys, interlocking squares, or waves. When using the HoloKote options, the pattern of your choice is printed repeatedly across your card.For additional card security, the HoloKote Custom Key or HoloKote Custom FLEX Key allows you to print custom graphics and text.When HoloKote is used along with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one area of the watermark becomes a high-visibility seal with an appearance similar to a holographic patch, at a fraction of the cost.Learn more about Magicard HoloKote and see how your own design will look on your card with Magicard's Custom HoloKote Tool.

The Magicard Rio Pro Single has built-in USB and Ethernet connectivity with Windows 7, XP and Vista (32 & 64 bit) compatibility.

5. Card printing flexibility
The Rio Pro offers complete card printing flexibility. Not only can you print standard dye-sublimation and thermal resin cards, the Rio Pro Duo is also capable of rewrite printing. Rewrite printing allows you to print, erase and reprint cards for efficiency and cost-savings.

With the Rio Pro Single, you can batch print a color design on one side of your cards, remove the ribbon (no ribbon is needed with rewrite printing) and then use the rewrite feature and hand-feed slot to individually print, erase and update information on the other side using Magicard thermal rewritable card stock.

6. Optional encoding
Add magnetic stripe, contactless, and smart card technologies to your Rio Pro Duo to combine your photo ID program with other applications such as access control, time and attendance tracking, debit transacting, and more.
