Advantage

1. When PC sheet is used outdoors or in the place having fluctuating temperatures,±8°C, the diameter of the hole drilled in advance for screwor rivet should be bigger than the diameter of screw shand to avoid strees-cracking due to thermal expansion. Generally,the diameter of hole should be 1.6mm bigger than the diameter of screw shank. If the span between two holes is 60cm, the space for thermal expansion should be 3.2mm; If the span between two holes is 15cm,the space for thermal expansion should be 0.8mm.
2. For example, the span of frame is 60-90cm,the thickness of PC sheet required is 4.5mm, the space for thermal expansion is 3.2mm Rivet should be made of aluminum;selfdrilling screw is forbidden
3. After installing,the head of screw and any space beside the screw shank should be covered or filled with silicone to avoid any acid or alkaline to penetrate and impair PC sheet.
4. The head of screw should be 1.5to2 times bigger than the diameter of screw shank. Packing or washer and lining must be used on between the screw head and PC sheet.
5. Over fastening will cause stress cracking.
