Bacterial vaginosis is a woman healthy problem caused by the broken balance of the vaginal bacterial proportion. The decrease of probiotics and increase of pathogenic bacterial break up the vaginal environment.

Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) Diagnostic Kit is used for rapid diagnosis and treatment evaluation of bacterial vaginosis. This kit is used for the detection and diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis.

Detection Principle

Gardnerella and some anaerobic bacterium are the main pathogenic bacterium of Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) . Those pathogenic bacterium generate amine compounds like putrescine, trimethylamine and cadaverine,  which are the valid marker of BV.

Healthy vagina doesn't carry those amine compounds, so the detection of those compounds can diagnose BV.

Operation Procedure

1. Remove the bottle cap 

2. Stir swab

3. Drip 2 drops of chromogenic reagent

Yellow and yellowgreen denootes negative 

Blue denotes positive

Stored in 2-8centigrade without corrosive substance and direct sunlight. One year valid for sealing kits, 30 day valid after opening package.
