Advantages of UHMWPE sheet

UHMWPE sheet  is a linear polyethylene with a much higher molecular weight than standard PE, which offers outstanding performance as below:

1)  abrasion resistance:

   4 times higher than Nylon66 and PTFE, 6 times than stainless steel, the best of the plastic

2) superior impact resistance:

   2 times than Polycarbonate,5 times than ABS and can keep toughness very well even under liquid-nitrogen   temperature (-196℃)

3)  self-lubricating property:

   Same as PTFE, friction coefficient is 0.07-0.11, 1/3-1/4 of steel.

4) impact energy absorption value is the highest in plastic and noise reduction is best.

5)  excellent mechanical characteristics

  Anti-corrosive medium and organic medium.

6) Non-sticking property: close to PTFE.

7) Non-poisonous property

   Widely used in food and medicine industry..

8) Low density

   The smallest in plastic, 56% lower than PTFE,22% lower than Polycarbonate; 1/8 of steel etc.
