LQM 5mm wire barrel and wedge

1. General

Wire barrel and wedge  is suitable for applications requiring prestressing force , specification include M15,M7 and M9.

Manufacturing standard GB/T14370-2007 and MT/T942-2005.

2. Technical performance

Wire barrel and wedge is divided into M5,M7 and M9 according to diamter of pc wire.
M5 can anchor 5mm pc wire with strength 1860MPa, M7 can anchor 7mm pc wire with strength 1860MPa, M9 can anchor 9mm pc wire with strenth 1860MPa. Anchor efficiency more than 0.95 and total elongation more than 2%.

3. Working principle

Each set wire barrel and wedge consists of an anchor ring, and a pair of clips. There is a conical hole in middle of anchor ring, through which steel strand shall penetrate in advance during operation, and then clips shall be installed into this hole and fix the steel strand. Putting the jack in place, and start the oil pump to transfer oil. The jack will pull the steel strand towards outside. In this way, steel strand is anchored due to wedging effect.
