Purolite resin has several product and plant approvals including ISO, NSF, WRAS, 

GMP and FDA certifications. While ordinary commercial styrene-based sulphonic 

acid resins may often be used for chemical reactions catalysed by the H+ or M+ ions, 

faster process times, better yields and higher product purity may be obtained by using 

a properly designed and purified catalyst. 

Purolite catalyst resins are supplied either completely water  swollen, or dried to 

specification.

Purolite C100E is a high purity premium grade bead form conventional gel polystyrene sulfonate cation exchange resin designed expressly for the treatment of foodstuffs,beverages,potable waters,and water used in the processing of food. It's specification is such that it will exceed the relevant EEC requirement,and the resin is in compliance with the US Food & Drug Administration Code of Federal Regulations Section 21,paragraph 173.25;  For use in the treatment of foods for human consumption.Its high bead integrity,excellent chemical and physical stability,and very low extractibles content play a large part in its successful emplyment in these ares.
