Melt Extracted Stainless Steel Fiber

After mixing stainless steel fiber with refractory matrix, all of the properties of anti-fire structures, such as resistance to damage from thermal shock cycling, impact resistance, anti-fire gradient, anti-friction and abrasion resistance may be improved and the durability of materials can be elongated.

Mixing stainless steel fiber with refractory will be able to reduce maintenance costs and energy consumption by a big margin. Production-stop accidents due to break-down of refractory materials can also be reduced greatly. Equipments may be used effectively, production may be kept in continuity and the products costs will be lowered. Therefore,an outstanding economic effect is gained.

The mixing ratio of stainless steel fibre with refractory matrix is about 1-5% by weight.

If stanless steel fiber would have been mixed with refractory matrix, it will be protected and reduce from cracking and abrasion under high-temperature condition, improving flexual strength as well as splat cooling and heating capabilities. Then also, there is a big increasing in thermal conductive coefficient.
