Falling Head Permeameter
Standards : BS 1377:2
Applications :
used to determine the permeablity lof fine -grained soils.such as clay-like or silty soils,
the specimen is consinfed wtthin the permeamieter which is connected to he manomter tube filled with
water,
The sample must e completely satured with water before the test, and the operarator will check the rate of fall of the water
in the tube passing thourhg the test specimen.
