Spotal bauxite grog,fusion corundum and flake graphite were used as starting material for the stopper rod,and addsilicon Carbide to make the stopper head, liquid resin as binder and some additive was involved. The stopper has been used in 8 ton tundish,chieving 8 heats service life.
