Specifications

Hot-rolled narrow strip rolling line enjoys the advantages of low cost and investment, fast construction and commissioning, short payback period, high process and technology level, reliable production and premium product.

Raw material adopted: Mainly concasting bloom or slab with thickness at 100-250mm, width at 100-550mm.

Raw material steel grade: carbon steel, carbon constructional quality steel, low-alloy steel, stainless steel, spring steel etc.

Capacity of hot-rolled narrow strip rolling line: around 200,000-800,000 TPA according to different specification of the final product.

Main technical characteristics:

     Adopt pusher type reheating furnace to save investment.

     Adopt semi-continuous rolling process. Rough rolling equips with one stand of horizontal 2-Hi reversing mill and one stand of edging mill or two stands of 3-Hi mills. Intermediate rolling and finishing rolling uses two stands of edging mill and 8-10 stands of horizontal mills, of which 4 to 6 stands of 4-Hi mills with hydraulic AGC.

     Equipped with water jet de-scaling to remove scales.

     Equipped with soaking roll table between rough rolling and finishing rolling to avoid great temperature difference between the head and tail of the middle part of the rolling stock after roughing rolling.

     Adopt looper to ensure non-tension rolling between intermediate mill and finishing mill.

     Adopt vertical or horizontal type coiler.
