It is intended to changing round steel tubes into square tubes, rectangular tubes or other special tubes by pushing and cold rolling. It is capable to produce square or rectangular tubes with the maximum and the minimum side length and wall thickness in the industry. The unit can also be used as cold sizing equipment for medium-large diameter steel tubes. Sizing accuracy can exceed control deviation specified in the national standards.

Its structure combines a universal frame in which horizontal roll is symmetrical to vertical roll with respect to the same plane, and large-thrust hydraulic pushing and extruding unit. The unit eliminates aspects restricting special tube wall thickness in cold bending formation technology. Compared with positive roll-type unit and bending unit, the unit increases wall thickness of product by two times.

1. Side lengths of produced square or rectangular tubes:

Max.: side length × side length × wall thickness=600×600×(5~35);

Min.: side length × side length × wall thickness=80×80×(2~15).

Square or rectangular tube length: 3~14m 

2. The unit consists of four shaping frames and one straightening frame (with Turks heads), all of which are mounted on the same plane.

3. Its driving power section is designed and fabricated in the principle of patented two-step hydraulic pushing pipe making machine.
