The Torimatsu knife is forged by the Japanese traditional methods. A blacksmith can make only one piece at a time. The special steel is heated and hammered over and over; the extreme strength is given to a knife in this long process of quenching. A blade of a boxed knife is sharpened as the perfect condition.
