Polymer cracking patch for road and bridge is a quality polymer modified materials for road complying with high strengths mat and high temperature fabric. It has good performance on prevent reflective cracking on the road besides waterproofing. The advantage is its unique structural design which can prevent waterproof infiltration while preventing the crack reflection. Specially, it has good performance on low temperature resistance of the prevention to pavement cracking ice.

Operating principal

Stress absorption: as a stress absorbing membrane, polymer material can increase the possibilities of a vertical fracture developing along the interface in the horizontal direction, so as to delay the reflection time from crack to the surface.

Concrete cracking: after crack developing into the asphalt concrete surface layer, bridging effect of geosynthetics and high temperature resistant fabric layer has a certain section of tensile strength. It reduces opened fractures and deformation, and also reducing the tensile crack tip stress concentration.

Waterproof: the asphalt base polymer material has a certain low temperature resistance, and can keep the shape of the material at low temperature from changing, it can also form a waterproof layer having a good waterproof effect which can prevent the infiltration of water after cracking. Meanwhile, it provides a very good protection to base sheet.
