Operations

(1)Switch on, turn on the switch, choose the illumination method by switch transfer: Transmitted light or optic fiber light (usually matched with internal reflection)

(2)Observe by projection method

Projection method fit for translucent sample, uses transmitted light, put the sample on the projection light, adjust the diaphragm, fix the light to the sample, and adjust spectroscope and the light as demands

(3)Internal reflection method

It fit for the transparent samples. Choose the optical fiber light, hold the sample with tweezers, after light entering from pavilion facet of the sample, then emit from the opposite direction of table reflection, adjust the spectroscope aim at the emitting light and observe it.

Attentions:

(1)This if a type of precision instrument, have to avoid strong shaking, wetting and heat.

(2)All parts were calibrated, pls don’t take part of them

(3)Turn off the power after using the instrument

(4)The optic fiber tube shouldn’t roll heavy, or it will damaged

in laboratory the desktop spectroscope is more widely used.
Desktop spectroscope is a prism spectroscope with light
source, gauge and other accessories. The light source
