Protective Gloves' Basic Standards

1. EN420 General Requirements

Range: The standard indicated details: ergonomic requirments, knitting,size,mark, and the information of user.

Marks: Each pair of gloves needs to be marked with manufactures name, style, and CE. If level 3,

testing lab name must be marked.

Dexterity: It has 5 levels. During testing, tester picks up metal bars of different diameters t judge dexterity level.

PH value; All gloves must be tested PH value, and it should be within range between 3.5 and 9.5.

2. EN388 Mechanical risks.

The standard states gloves' protective functions against physical harm and mechanical risks, including abrasion resistance, blade cut resistance,tear resistance, and pnncture resistance.

3. EN374 Risks of chemicals penetration

The standard states general requirements, test methods, levels and marks for gloves function of resistance to chemicals penetration.

4. EN4407 Functions of fire-proof and heat resistant

The standard states general requirements of gloves functions of  head, flame resistance, test methods, levels, and properties marks of fire-proof and heat resistant(flame, contact heat, transitivity heat, radiation heat, metallic sparks and smelting metal.)

5. EN511 Function of low temperature resistant

The standard states gloves resistant characters of cold conduction and convection, and test methods, cold temperature is 50 degrees below zero.
