The Bottom-View Smoke Detector Hidden Video Recorder features a self contained DVR capable of recording high resolution color video to a MicroSD card that`s cleverly concealed inside the unit. Easily control the unit without even having to touch it with the included IR remote control. With motion detection and support for up to 32GB MicroSD card, you`ll capture only the footage you need with no worry of running out of storage space. The `twist-and-click` mounting bracket and included USB cable make recovering all your footage a snap. Transferring the footage to your PC or MAC is easy - using the included USB connection, simply plug one end to the camera/DVR system and the other into your USB port. Your laptop or computer will identify the unit as a "Removable Mass Storage Device" and create a drive enabling you to drag and drop the files to a location of your choosing. As an alternative, you can remove the MicroSD card and, using your media card reader, access the footage that way. The device saves your footage in the widely-universal AVI data format which makes it simple to provide a footage sample to authorities or e-mail them to a friend or family member - or perhaps share them on YouTube and Facebook!
