HDMI HD Video Encoder

HDMI HD Video Encoder is a HD video encoding transmission product with high performance. KV-EC201 supports the input interface of HDMI and VGA video, and then users could choose either one as video input. Meanwhile, users could choose HDMI embed audio or analog audio as audio signal sources.

HDMI HD Video Encoder KV-EC201 HDMI interface is compatible with HDMI 1.3 HDCP 1.3 standards, supporting video input high up to 1080p60; VGA interface supports various video resolution ratio that conforms to VESA standard from VGA to WUXGA, maximum is up to 1920x1200@60Hz. After processing like image denoise, color enhancement and de-interlace through preposed professional image processor, video encoding H.264 High Profile, then it could gain excellent encoding capacity.

HDMI HD Video Encoder KV-EC201 supports main stream 1080p@30fps,720p@60fps stable coding frame rate, sub stream encoding frame rate is up to 30fps. KV-EC201 video encoding rate is adjustable between 512Kbps and 20Mbps,AAC audio encoding rate is adjustable between 16Kbps and 256Kbps. Under encoding bit rate about HDMI 2.0Mbps VGA 1.0Mbps, it could truly restore video with 1920x1080 resolution rate, no obvious visual damage.

HDMI HD Video Encoder KV-EC201 has encoding delay less than 50ms. If cooperating with our KV-DC serial encoders, it could realize “encoding to decoding” delay less than 200ms in typical network environment. (The decoding delay of the third party equipment/software is related with specific product and technology.)

KV-EC201 is easy to operate and could use only with electricity by default. Through simple Web operation, The user can configuration and manage the encoder through simple Web operation interface. KV-EC201 supports many transmission protocol like RTP/RTSP,RTMP,HLS,MPEG-TS etc., also compatible with ONVIF 1.1,2.0 and can integrate with recent popular streaming media server( like Wowza FMS RED5P NVR and video management platform. Through cooperating with KV-DC serial encoder or with the help of KV-EC201’s API programming interface, it could also realize remote RS485 pass-through and two-way voice intercom function.
 

The encoding delay of KV-EC201 is less than 50ms, with binaural hi-fi audio quality and high quality compressed picture quality, original video with format up to 1080p60 can be truly restored under encoding bit rate of 2.5Mbps, no obvious image distortion, smear, frame loss and mosaic, color rendition are true, sounds are clear with high fidelity.

KV-EC201 is easy to install and operate, only simple connections and settings are required. It provides the operations and management based on Web, supports standard RTP/RTSP transport protocols and network management API, compatible with ONVIF 1.1/2.0 standard, which can be integrated with all kinds of software management platform conveniently. At the same time, if cooperating with KV-DC series Decoder, KV-EC201 can even support two-way voice talkback, 1 channel of RS-485 signal exchange.

KV-EC201 provides open source SDK, supporting Windows/Linux/Unix cross-platform compiling which could realize equipment’s management,video playing, video and other functions.
