The Mies Van Der Rohe Four Seasons Bar Stool construction originally began in 1958 when he and Philip Johnson were commissioned to design the restaurant and bar for Manhattan's prestigious Four Seasons Hotel. Keeping with the Bauhaus style, Mies chose to modify his Flat Arm Brno design for the bar area. The Mies van der Rohe Four Seasons Bar Stool shows strength and stability with clean lines and simplicity. The Four Seasons Bar Stool was unveiled to the public in 1959, though until not until recently was the stool put into mass production.

The stool uses a continuous piece of steel for the frame with a cross brace used as a foothold. 

Mies van der Rohe was born in Germany in 1886. At the age of 19 he moved to Berlin, and starting working with the Art Nouveau architect and furniture designer Bruno Paul. Just a year later, he received his first commission for an architectural design of a local philosopher's home. Over the next 10 years he studied the works of Frank Lloyd Wright and Karl Friedrich Schinkel. By 1912, he had his own studio in Berlin.

Top Grain Aniline leather is then topical stain protected to minimize liquid absorption during every day use but does not require imitation grain stamping methods which imprint a Faux grain over the majority of the leather surface. Without all the synthetic topical coatings, it breathes naturally making it comfortable for seating. It is soft, supple, durable and pliable, maintaining the characteristics of pure leather.

Can I negotiate the Price?

Yes, we may consider modest discounts for multiple container loads of mixed goods or bulk orders of individual products to our district distributor.

What is your minimum order requirement?

Our minimum order quantity would be a 20ft container, although in some instances we can arrange one-off sample piece and shipping cost is borne by the customer.

How long will it take to execute my order?

This depends on the size and complexity of the order. Please let us know the quantity and items No. so that we can advise a production schedule.  Production time is typically 15~25 days.

Do you have products in stock?

Sorry, normally we do not carry stock – most items are made to orders. If there is any stock, we will keep you posted as per your enquiry.

How much will the shipping charges be?

This will depend on the size of your shipment and the ways of shipping. When inquiring about shipping charges, we would require the detailed information of product items and quantities, your favored way of shipping(by air or by sea) and your designated port or airport.  We will then be able to advise the best shipping cost for you.

Can you give warranty of your products?

Yes, we are proud to extend a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all items. We would request detailed images of any problems or warranty claims - provided emails with detailed pictures are sent, we will dispatch replacements at our cost to repair the products or alternatively supply replacements in subsequent orders.  In some special cases we may turn to a discount as a solution.

What is your way of Packaging?

We use reinforced cardboard cartons with clear labeling and external color swatches. Goods are economically packed into snug fitting boxes in order to minimize your cost of shipping.
