• Inspect surface on which the trim is to be applied.
• The surface must be free of all oil, grease and wax , bugs, or grime that might prevent the adhesive from sticking.
• The ambient air temperature needs to be 60 degrees F (15 degrees C) or above for installation.
• Wash the area completely with clean water and then dry completely.
• Wipe the area a second time with denatured alcohol.
• Dry fit the trim piece first to determine correct fitment.
• remove the adhesive backing, install the cover and hold firmly in place applying consistent pressure. I like to use a towel and wipe firmly from the center to the edges to remove any air bubbles that might be trapped under the adhesive.
